Golden Gate
This view of the Golden Gate bridge was taken on a summer day with the fog covering San Francisco. I have listed this picture as being taken in San Francisco because most people know it from that location, however this photo was actually taken from the Marin County side of the bridge. Even though I have lived in California all my life this was the first time I had walked across the brige. San Francisco, CA. 'Nikon F100 35mm SLR' (Click for larger view)
This view of the Golden Gate bridge was taken from the Marin Headlands on the north side of the bridge. San Francisco can be seen in the background. San Francisco, CA. 'Nikon F100 35mm SLR' (Click for larger view)

I took this silhouette picture of San Francisco just prior to attending a class at the Mountain Light photography gallery in Emeryville, CA. Mountain Light was owned by the renown photographer Galen Rowell and his wife Barbara Cushman Rowell. Sadly Galen and Barbara died in a light plane crash just south of there new home town of Bishop, CA early in on the morning of August 11th, 2002. The world of nature photography has lost one of great nature photographers of our time. Galen's photos were one of my inspirations to start back up my pursuit of photography.
